A mobile spray tan is a professional tanning service where a certified spray tan artist travels to your location—such as your home, office, or event—to apply a custom airbrush tan. The service overall takes about 25 minutes on average, including a personal consultation, in-home spray tan with set up and tear down. Mobile spray tanning offers convenience, privacy, and a personalized experience, allowing you to achieve a flawless tan in the comfort of your own space.

Our mobile tans cost anywhere from $75 - $109 with no extra fees! If you live in the Littleton, Castle Rock or Highlands Ranch Colorado area, there will be no extra travel cost for the mobile services. If you live outside those areas, contact us to see if additional fees will apply.

The Day Before Your Appointment:

1. Exfoliate your skin thoroughly.
   Use a gentle scrub, exfoliating mitt, or dry brush to remove dead skin cells. This creates a smooth, even surface for your tan.

2. Shave or wax at least 24 hours before.
   This gives pores time to close and prevents uneven spots.

3. Avoid heavy lotions or oils after exfoliating.
   These can leave residue that blocks the tanning solution from absorbing evenly.

The Day of Your Appointment

1. Shower before your appointment.
   Your skin should be clean and completely dry — no makeup, perfume, deodorant, or lotion.

2. Wear loose, dark clothing.
   After your tan, tight clothes can cause lines or rub off color. Choose comfy pieces like a loose dress or oversized T-shirt.

3. Set up a space for your artist.
   A 6x6 ft area with good lighting and access to an outlet works great. (Your artist will bring a tent and all supplies!)

4. Pull your hair up and off your face/neck.
   A hair tie will help keep product away from your hairline.

5. Remove jewelry.
   This prevents uneven tanning and staining.

Typically, a spray tan lasts 7–10 days, depending on your skin type, prep, and aftercare routine.

Rule of thumb is to book your spray tan 2 days before your event. For example, if your wedding is on a Saturday, we recommend to book your tan for Thursday during the day or evening. It is important to have at least 2 soapy showers before an event. Also, if this is your first time tanning with Sunny Days, we always recommend a trial tan before your event (no later than 3 weeks before the event). All other beauty services such as nails/ hair/ waxing/ etc. should be completed 24-48 hours before your spray tan.

The tan usually develops over 6–8 hours for an overnight solution after your first rinse. Our express solutions can be rinsed in 2–5 hours and takes 24 hours for the tan to fully develop.

After your tanning appointment, make sure to:

1. Refrain from touching your body while the tan develops

2. Wear loose clothing to prevent your tan from rubbing off

3. Refrain from wearing makeup or applying product to the skin prior to the first rinse

4. Avoid getting your skin wet until your first rinse (ex: going to the gym, sweating, rain water, etc.)

5. Follow the rinse off time’s your artist specified. The first shower should be with warm water with no soap or products

6. Gently pat your skin dry after your shower instead of rubbing

7. After rinse off, apply skin care products and lotions that are free of any oils

8. Steer clear of saunas, steam rooms, chlorine, and hot tubs. This could cause the tan to fade quicker than 7-10 days

9. Healthy, hydrated skin will retain the results of your sunless session longer! Make sure to drink lots of water and wear lotion and sunscreen daily
